Gary_Cusdin I keep seeing people say you can read the codes by pedal test on petrol's. Is this true and how do I find out how to do it?? Is it 1 of these hush tips or is it just something that people should not know. Thanks
evocarlos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyCanc7BheU depending on the car some may need all pedals pressed its in the comments on the vid ive not tryed this myself so not sure if it works
Matt Gary Cusdin said: Tried and did not work. Either it does not work or there are no faults. That only worked on the older models. Yours might be the same as on mine with it being a signum and full can ECU: Take a seat in your car... Press the brakepedal and the accelerator-pedal fully at the same time Turn the ignitionkey till the lights in your dash come on but don't start the car! In the display where normally your mileage is shown, you'll see "ECN" (error code number) and below it the faultcodes that have been stored. They appear one after another. At the end, your mileage will be shown again.
rushy The 2.2 is the only Vec C that you cant do the peddle test on mate. You can get power train codes with most ebay code readers or even the Torque App from Google but for all the codes on a Vec C your going to need something like opcom.
Gary_Cusdin Cheers Rushy, though as such. Next time he comes to read I am taking the code and not the fault. Hopefully once I change pump I wont need any read.
