Baz right guys need some help i dont know if my clutch is slipping or not but when i drive with low revs i get like a droaning noise but only in 1st if im in 2nd and pull away at say 2000rpm i get a slight noise not sure if its the clutch or not notsure.gif
vocky some cars do that in first gear, as for the second gear not sure might be worth changing the gearbox oil or add some molyslip gearbox treatment - I put some in mine to prevent the dreaded f23 cold 1st gear selection issue :shock:
vocky there should be a drain plug, but I've never looked 🙁 then it's just a case of filling the correct amount back in (1.55 litres - but 1.5 litres should be fine, as you won't get all the old oil out)
Mark_Dj I get that cold 1st gear selection issue first thing in the mornings, it feels like the stick does not want to go in gear :roll: . After when it goes in it's fine :lol:
Gazza in the haynes maual it says there is no drain plug,the only way to do it is extensive dismantling notsure.gif
Matt thats suprising, I'd have thought they would have made it pretty easy to replace the gear box oil??
