New Keyboard Time

So, the keyboard I bought back in 2007 is starting to pack up, and is missing keystrokes more frequently. It's had a good run, as I've been using it daily at work for the last 3 years, and takes some decent hammer

Ideally, I'd like a Logitech keyboard, as I've had 3 of their mice, and really like them.

I can't decide between wireless or wired either.

These are the two I've been looking at:

I'm more swayed by the wireless, because it's using the Unified receiver, which will work with my mouse, so I can use both of them at the same time though the single receiver. However, the wired one looks better for prolonged periods of typing, which would be good given I spend 12 hours at a time using it.

Thoughts?

got it from a mate who won it in a compo very happy with it i do gaming so wireless is not an option for me i find it to slow to respond
this one is better than my old Microsoft recluser

Just watched the video on there. What's it like for typing on though? I don't need any of the features that has, as I don't do any gaming on the PC.

i don't use any of the features apart from changing the key color to blue
its a proper key bored with proper key presses not like a laptop key bored like some of the new one are (soft touch)

it does come with a built in dyslexic feature when typing making all my word be speeled wong 🙂

See, I really like the feel of laptop keyboards. The full keyboard I have now also has laptop style keys, which is why I like the look of the two in the first post.

I've just been and bought the K750 wireless keyboard. They had it in stock @ PCWorld, and it was only £46.99 compared to £58.49 @ Ebuyer.

Got it set up and running on my desktop with the unified software, so I only need to use the single USB adapter for both devices (y)

Can't believe that yours has lasted this long!! Mine packed up years ago. The keys started falling off all over the place. I replaced it with a Dell keyboard which has been fantastic and still going strong.

Used the keyboard for a 12 hour shift yesterday. It's a pleasure to type on (y)

My only criticism is the finish. It's a magnet for fingerprints, and it's very soft, so even a wipe with a jumper can induce swirls onto it. (n)

Got all the software installed on my work laptop now, so it's all set up and running nicely.
