Well, had a friend look into some problems on the Vec during the week, lumpy running, eml kept coming on and needing to be reset, lack of grunt. Seems the balance shafts were a tooth out. Also swapped the ecu for another so fingers crossed it's sorted. Certainly feels smoother but with current weather conditions I haven't checked performance. Em is currently off, how long for we don't know but hopefully it is also fixed. Need the chains replacing though as the dealer I bought it from in Somerset only replaced the broken chain, & with a cheap one at that. When I have another weekend off I'll be off to my mate Michael Derry again to get the chains replaced with genuine, then fit a racetube and DD backbox.
