Alternator Help

I think my Alternator is gone. Can anyone confirm by looking at the photo that there should be another cable going into the alternator plug as there is only the blue cable you can see but 2 female connection slots on the plug.

No that is correct you only have a blue wire from the plug even thou its a 2 pin plug.

To check if your alternator is gone start your engine and put an electrical test meter on the battery. You should get a reading of between 13-14v with a good alternator. Any less and its had it.

Yeah it's defiantly gone I was getting 11.49v. I was hoping it was something like a plug that might of been the problem. It's in the garage just now getting a new alternator.
