all about physical security, make it as hard as possible then if they do break in they will think twice about doing it again

Oh I know that mate, but it's something we have that no one else on the road does, so it's one extra deterrent. Biggest thing at the minute is getting rid of the shitty euro cylinder locks, as they are piss easy to get in through. They have been targeting houses with those fitted, and going in through the side doors......which we don't have. Our door was moved from the side to the rear of the house, and we have a bolted 7 foot gate to the back garden. It's also a solid wood stable door, with 5 lever locks on both, plus dead lock top and bottom across from the hinges. Also only have two opening windows on the front, which have recently had new locks fitted also.
