As she has not moved for months now, I figured that today would be the day to wake her up and drag her out of the garage to make a few small changes.
The engine had not run since the 23rd September 2012, when I put her away in the garage.
But one turn and she fired up, not one bit of smoke and the engine was as quiet as ever after 3 1/2 months!
So, what has been done. Here is the full Opel set I bought last week, along with the chrome dial rings which will also be added soon :-
The OPC badge will be replaced with a Linea Rossa badge like on the back of the car, as it is not an OPC and bever will be. But the idea is when in Opel guise, it will be identical to the OPC Convertible press car.
The Irmsher Duplex exhaust is going though!

So I spent about 15/20 minutes swapping everything over.

The idea, is to have both the Opel set up with the GSi 17's, and the Vauxhall set up with my 18's.
Easy enough to swap from one to the other, but the rear badge was the issue as it is stick on and buying new badges each time I swap from Vauxhall to Opel would be crazy.
So here is my solution! You will notice the badge has a black back like the front badges. There is a good reason, apart from looking a little better than having the body colour though, it is magnetic!
So Opel............................

Then Vauxhall!

But she is now back in the garage until March/April time.
