I would like a nice 3ltr auto BMW of some description. 3 Series would be nice, estate and not an SE model. I do like the X5's, however, as already pointed out, they are massively expensive to maintain, although, tyres are fairly easy to come by from the likes of Camskill or BlackCircles. Budget tyres like Maxxis are around £110 each or stepping upto Goodyear and onwards will be £185 upwards to £250. I also like Land Rover Discovery's yet they are in some respects more expensive to look after than the X5.
I have had an about turn with the Audi A4's. They are stupid money with star ship miles on a 2ltr engine. The recent experience with our A3 and the DPF doesn't fill me with confidence either?
I would also like to have an Astra VXR just to say i've had one but its just not practical.
I've got plenty of time, i'm in no rush.
