i took my engine cover of today as the car is getting a good gutting (cleaning) and the engine is first i took the engine cover of and washed it stupid idea cos its took the black away and left white dots anywho i want to colour it but not sure what colour the car is silver i was thinking blue but alot of people have this

Can you not just paint it a good black again?

Mine goes exactly the same baz,just get some silicone spray and give it a polish with it..comes up good as new

ill give that a try later going to take the wheels of the car today and give them a good clean
