Allen Hi just bought this car after reading so much about the z22se that is in this car i need some help about what do do with the chain change them orleave them. The car has done 120k now and dont know if the chains have been done. And is there any thing else that i need to know about the car Thanks

Allen When i start up first thing in the morrning it has got like a clicking nosies coming from the engine
cavaddict That could be a cracked exhaust manifold, very common. Would still be inclined to get the chains done if you have no record if them being done before.
Allen Thanks will take a look at that if there is a crack in the manifold would it not be making the noise every time you start up Thanks for the help
cavaddict Usually sound worse starting from cold until the metal expands. Can be welded but sometimes the stresses induced from the weld just makes it prone to cracking again. 'Stitch' welding usually works best.
Allen Thanks if the chains are on the way out what sort of sound will they make and would that noise get louder as you hold the throttle down Would it be like a wisseling noise if not what whould that be
