hi all new too this
right here we go ive got a 2.2 vectra direct and recently been having problems with it cutting out engine light comes on and goes into limp mode very dangerous! I started by replacing the coil pack £150 still kept doing it so I took it too my local garage which ive used for years and they found a fault with the fuel pump in the engine so i said replace it which they did with a continental one cost me £530 all in 🙁 again still doing it after a day or so. I took it back into my garage and they said the fault is a (cylinder 1 misfire code p0301) he cleaned the plugs n took the fuel sensor out cleaned that sagain kept coming back with this fault..... after i kicked off he said he would replace the fuel sensor and he was 100% it was that so he replaced it and said see how u get on. I did a few journeys today take my son too school and then too the shop then as i was reversing it cut out ffs it fired up straight away and i got home no problems no warning lights. When i got home i thought ill leave her running see how she gets on after about 5/10 min it sounded like the engine wanted too cut out but then didnt again the warning light was back! shut the car down fired up no problem warning lights gone! it seems too only really happen when the cars warm any ideas guys or should this garage be looking deeper? any help i would really appreciate cheers
