charger and inlet off took the manifold apart to update the duel pass mod with the new alloy barbs and make it the right angle
i hate my mig welder keep spooling up the wire at the feed wheel!!!

ive had to modify the cs thermal gasket its to high at the top and only has one 6mm hole so its misaligned which ever way its fitted
cut some 3/8 copper tube an popped it in the hole to make up the gap 🙂 more tomorrow

heres the gasket fitted behind the manifold

i then took the charger apart and took out 147ml of oil which is a good sign as i put 150ml in when it had the new seals so its not losing any i did mess up and spray the charger with carb cleaner it stripped the paint off the rotors so had to clean them up
i washed the gear housing out with petrol and applied a fresh bead of sealant then filled it with 100ml of ATF its much quieter and after a trip to viper performance and back the charger was still cool to the touch 🙂 it now makes more whine noise to 🙂

well after the 100 mile drive home from trax i popped the bonnet and put my hand on the charger it was cool 30 - 40c and not 90c that gasket makes a big difference it will also help with charge cooling as now i don't need to fit a silly huge rad to get the cooling done

it also means more boost more of the time no heat soak 🙂

heres the pump fitted in the bracket and bolted on the engine

and the new dipper and tube came including the weather strips for the bumper

weather has been shit here all day as well.

been raining non stop all day here too. I've been in the workshop allday rewiring a combine engine bay after a fire, when I came out at 8pm there's a small lake in the back yard! :eek:

clutch and flywheel is a lot cheaper than i thought 🙂 @[deleted] thanks 🙂

got sick of the big hole in the bumper so the charger cooler rad is in the post

he told me lightning my flywheel and a clutch made to suite 350bhp under £300
