Send it in and they will put the base map on it which will get you going. Then off to norfolk for the final map on their dyno. I waited ages cause the software wasn't available for Astra. It is now so shouldn't take that long. Maybe @[deleted] knows, I remember it took about 2 weeks for him to get the vectra base map (which is available for a while now)

Do they charge a basic price for base map then a set figure for final mapping or is it per hour on the RR'd?

£200 for base map then £95 for RR setup i believe

yeah I drove over and dropped it off then picked it up 2 weeks later

Can you not pre book it in? How many hrs does it normally take £95 a hour could get expensive lol

when I went back for the final map it cost me £112 ,but as I had already paid the £50 booking fee I only had to pay £62 on the day .I was there from 9 till about 1.30 ish

That's not bad then. I know when I had the old 1.6 mapped with them, it was on the RR for quite a few hours before they got the map right and they only charged me a fixed price.

ive only ever been charged a fixed price at cs, £300 I think but it can take a while always been done in a day though. they don't like to rush up there but you do get top quality mapping which is what makes it worth while.

They had my map back to Superchips quite a few times while I was there to make sure it was right. This is why I prefer using a proper RR for mapping than just a plug in flash device.
