poundy nope i dont mate.not sure if its been there a while cos i recently had a new(standard) flexi re fitted to get rid of that horrible thind i had fitted before and thought it was that but it must be higher up.......oh dear here we go again! 🙁
MikeS most likely manifold area as the flexi is under the car on the Veccy B's engine sounds like a tank when warm indicates cracked manifold from my experience
poundy dont sound like a tank tho.i just know it sounds different.you get to know what your car sounds like do you know what i mean?
MikeS on the standard z22se with a cracked manifold you would notice the drop in power around 3k along with crap mpg and smell of fumes at idle
Paul_Wheeler Most likely the manifold is cracked or if you've had the flexi pipe replaced recently, it could be blowing between the manifold joint that connects to the flexi joint.
