steve_wj Hi all, not sure if this is in the right place, if not feel free to move. Only noticed when i progammed a new remote and chip that my doors don't deadlock either with key or buttons. 1st question is do all astras have the deadlock facility, 2nd Q what do i do to sort it. Cheers steve
Matt Hi Steve, as far as I know, all the Astras have a deadlock fitted to them. Not sure on why it's not working though. I'm sure someone else will be along and should be able to answer for you.
nathann88 wouldnt it be somthing to do with the unit behind the drivers kick plate? mine doesnt always work to dead lock it so i give the footplate a couple of kicks and problem solved. (no connections are loose so i dont know why mine does it)

guy_27 Have you tried resyncing the key? Put key in ignition turn to position before start, press and hold lock button. Doors should lock then unlock. I have to do mine a couple of times a year.
