No Compression No4

i just got a vecta c 2.2,
to find have no compression on cylinder no4.
how hard this to fix? im ok with cars but chains is a new thing for me...
anyone have idea on price to do or know someone could pay to do it?

From the work ive just done to my vectra c, the cylinder head work at the engineers cost £300, tha suppling 16 new valves, and fitting new guides, cleaning and skimming the head, but no head gasket and bolts that was an additional £120 and no labour to remove and strip and rebuild the head back up as I did all that

How hard the chains to do... i done the head and valves on my astra but that was belts. i not sure when comes to chains

mate the last thing id be worrying about is the chain! if youve done a belt before then your more than qualified. The only difference with a chain to a belt is that it wasnt made to be replaced ie you have to take a few things off the engine to get to it.
The chain sprockets and the chain are marked so you cant get it wrong basically.
just make sure if your gonna do the work yourself cleanliness is the key! clean clean clean! any issues feel free to ask!
