Oil in odd places...

After getting my EGR issues fixed now ive discovered when changing my air filter today that in the main pipe linking to engine there appears to be quite alot of black oil towards the end of the pipe ( bit that connects to filter box )

Any idea;s?

the z22se does have a breather hose from the cam cover to the air intake pipe. Oil does collect in the pipe, inlet and the throttle body.

Well worth cleaning the inlet pipe and throttle body. I done mine on my black coupe the other day and it made a nice difference. Underneath the TB was coked in dried oil.

Yeh i took this off earlier gave it a good clean and its more responsive i would say now, although im now having issue with the cluch dam car! whenever i pull away and bring clutch up it makes a groaning noise from the front end, doesnt do it in any other gear just first when pulling away from stationary unless i add lots of power but then with the exhaust it sounds a tad loud!

maybe, its more if i bring clutch up slowly with low revs?
