throttle body polish and porting

Hi everyone is anybody offering polished and ported throttle bodies any more??

I have seen them on old threads for around 50quid

Iv been thinking about it for a wile. any body fitted one and can tell me what it will actually do.

I cant see it giving me hp but a better throttle responce.

And i read about having to reset the ecu how and why is this?

I doubt you will see a HP increase but will deff help with throttle response, people reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery and then drive steady for 30mins or 30 miles for it to re-learn and adjust to the changes.

You are never going to see big gains on these cars without spending some cash but every little change will help 😉

Thats what i thought. Is anybody still offering them on here for aeound the 50quid mark. Or an exchange.

I know this sounds daft but any vauxhall 2.2 throttle body should shunt it??

i still do them when i get the chance hopefully i will have one ready in the next few weeks ?!
