I have for sale an engine head from my Vectra Z22SE engine.
I bought a replacement head and had it swapped off the car by Benny to attempt to solve my oil-in-coolant engine troubles. Seemingly the head replacement didn't help as I was still getting oil-in-coolant after the swap, so the problems were probably deeper inside the engine block. I ended up selling the car and the conclusion was that this orignal head was probably fine all along.
There were some indents on the head face though (and on the gasket which is still with it), so I'd had it skimmed (5/1000 inch) and was planning on cleaning it up for resale and getting it pressure tested to prove it was still road-worthy.
However in the middle of that process I moved to New Zealand, and haven't returned (wonderful out here so who can blame me!).
My dad is now wanting me to get rid of the engine head ASAP so he can free up space in his garage.
So up for sale is the engine head. Some swarf from the skim still on it, so will want some attention to clean it up before use. Hasn't been pressure tested. Believe it to be fine, but best to have it checked before fitting, so pitch your offer price accordingly.
Looking for up to 150GBP, but basically make me an offer of what you think it is worth as it has to go... and soon! Any sensible offer considered...
