egr cheater

Hiya just blankety blanked the egr valve and wapped a cheater on but the eml has come on again any ideas plaese:banghead:

Is it a solider one or a plug ??

As what I did I just unplug the egr and I didn't blank it so I plug the cheater in and wrap it

That it no eml at all as I did blank the plate and it did how eml up as find the plate are not flat as I try seal it no diff at all

Ok are u sure it plug in proper or u plug it in wrong way did u follow the how2 ??
I has a issue with plug in and find out it was faulty so they send me a replaced and it work since

If it's plugged in correctly, and you've reset the EML/disconnected the battery, then it could be faulty. If so, as soon as vocky has made the new batch of cheaters, I'll send you a replacement out

Hya peeps thanks to matt for the replacement cheater but like a prize tit i got the two mixed up .Eml came on again think i might have put the knackered one back on gonna try again.

Ok Stu tried it the other way round and the traction control light stayed on mmmmmmmm.

That shouldn't affect tc so it nothing to do with cheater
Mean u might got a fault with tc

Gettin a headache now wouldnt mind runs the same when eml comes on might be posessed eh.

U need to plug in the opcom to read the fault

OPCOM is a software based diagnostic system used via a laptop. Just buy a cheap fault code reader of eBay.

Yeah opcom a fault code reader igot them plug in my laptop they cost me 30 for it better than paying 50 quid in the garaged so buy that ur for unlimited time u can changed mileages clear code etc on it

Might ava do at that, garage did it 4 nowt last time because he knows my gobby missus . My mate says cars run better when you clean them so i treated it today after 2 months of shit . Would be nice if that were true eh.
