That's all I need. Seems the front pipe of my exhaust has started blowing. Anyone know where I can find one Cheeeeeeeep for a 51 plate vectra?

Do you mean the down pipe or centre section? Also is just corroded or blowing on a flexi? Depending on where and what is blowing a decent exhaust place may be able to re-weld for you.

Tbh until I get the car on the pit at work I can't say for sure. I do know that the cat keeps putting the eml light on so that's gonna have to be replaced anyway.

It's blowing from the flexy part so new cat it is then. Grrrrrr!

If its blowing from the flexi it shouldn't be an issue at all,no need for new pipe or cat.

How so? From looking at it the cat and flexy are part of the same pipe. I know the cat needs replacing anyway as it keeps setting the eml light to come on. Fault code goes straight to the cat. I've found a 2nd hand one on fleabay for £45 so prob go for that.

Flexi's are fairly common for going as said any decent exhaust place will replace it for you,i am not talkingabout your local exhaust and tyre centre through, more like a powerflow or custom exhuast place.The SC lads get through flexi pipes all the time

Just had a quick look and there is a Custom Performance Ltd which may not be million miles away from you.

Also you sure it's not the sensor rather than the cat?

Thanks fella. Well I've just ordered the £45 front pipe so I'll fit that in when it arrives. Not heard of Custom Performance though so may have to give them a look for any future mods.
