alternator packed up on the coupe and left me on the motorway.
got recovered off and AA man checked and confirmed alternator at fault.
we charged the battery, and drove the car home and parked on the drive.
yesterday morning i charged the battery, and then connected it to another battery (not on a car) with jumpleads, but the car wouldnt fire up to take me to work and a garage to get alternator fixed, so i left it. and thought nothing of it.
called a recovery truck to take me to the garage to sort the alternator.
put the battery pack on it and car wouldnt fire up, which was strange.
no fault codes showing on OBD, BUT the spanner light is flashing in the car.
the garage used a spray which the sprayed in the throttle body and the car fired up but cut out. does this rule out an immobiliser issue?
is it likely to be anything other than the fuel relay or the fuel pump?
the letters ECU were thrown in conversation, but i really really doubt its that.
