Gazza some times well 5 out of 10 times i would say my reverse lights do not come on when i put the car in reverse notsure.gif any ideas what it could be ? bulbs are ok and conections 😃
Andy just looking in the haynes and the switch is at the back of the gearbox just above the driveshaft
vx220na if its anything like the vx then the switch on the gearbox goes quite regular, only coppers to replace if i remember correctly or a spray of contact cleaner may help you in the short term.

Gazza not changed fuse but will look just incase anyone know what fuse it is as i have mis placed my hand book and does the fuse run anything else ?
Andy it says its at the back of the gearbox just above the driveshaft, i assume its the same for astra and vec as its the same engine and box.
Gazza had a look for this switch today and cant find it can anyone help its a nightmare not haveing the reversing lights on :evil:
Daz u'd prob be better getting to it from under the wheel arch...its prob screwed in...will take a peek at mine 2moz for u...thats if it is the reverse light switch mind..
Gazza cheers daz what do you mean wheel arch ? its hard to get under mine as the kit sits very low. i cant think what else it could be notsure.gif tried new bulbs and fuses ?
Daz if u take ure n/s/f wheel of ue shud be able to see that area quite well, Unless uve got a wiring fault odds on its the switch m8
