Hi all.
would like a bit of advice please.
My engine management light is on and i'm using oil.
Every 600 to 800 miles "check oil" displays in car and i have to top it up.
No visible signs of leak under car at any time and none inside engine bay that i can see.
Been on diagnostics and fault code "p1336" shows up.
I believe this code refers to camshaft sensor/crankshaft sensor???
Using this forum i have discovered that this engine has no camshaft sensor so i've narrowed it down to the crankshaft sensor lol.
Would this problem be linked to the oil usage or is it a separate problem altogether??
Sorry if i sound completely thick but i've never worked on my own car before but i'm trying to learn after being ripped off by a garage and spending nearly £400 on a fault that never existed..(saw me coming, i think)
Any help or advice gratefully received.
