the door pins knock out , there is indeed a tool for it but you can usually do it with a very big flat bladed screwdriver , they both have to be knocked out inwards (the bottom one goes up and the top one goes down) you dont have to crush any ends or anything , the best tip i will give you is knock the bottom one out first also wind the window down a little so you have somewhere to hold when door is off , beware the doors are heavy so have your leg propping it up as you knock the top pin out
