Ive had the drilled n grooved discs on my astra with the black diamond pads and found i could cook the pads quite easily. Cheaper pads have lasted a bit longer, but im guessing either the 288 discs are too small for my style of driving or they are just crap. was not impressed by the front at all.
I did notice a nice improvement with standard discs on the front and black diamond discs & pads on the rear thou.
