dewismotorsport Chain has snapped on my 51 plate Astra coupe, I heard no horrible metal on metal noises and when cranking after (didn't know chain had snapped) didn't hear anything bad is it still ok? Are these engine a non interference engine? Will it just be a case of new chain kit and off she goes? Cheers Adam
Din Most likely will have bent a few inlet valves, they also crack guides... The pistons may have some marks, but should be ok ! Should you need one I have a cylinder head that came off the Mrs zafira that had bottom end issues.

dewismotorsport Are all z22se engines the same? For example mine is out of a Astra coupe, will one out of a vectra c be the same? As I'm looking for a bare block and head and just want to make sure everything is the same
