Hello everybody.
I found this forum when surfing the www. I'm writing from Germany so sorry for my english ;-)
A few months ago I installed a Hitec Supercharger-Kit und a Zafira F23 Gearbox (4,17 instead of 3,95original) at the same time in my Opel Speedster.
Since the first startup i had problems with a slow reaction to the throttle after changing gears and hiccups when slow accelerating from rpms under 2000. Over 2000 everything is fine.
Using an obd software I recognized that the ignition point jumps from -15 degrees to + 5 degrees. In this moment the engine hiccups.
After de-connecting the vehicle-speed-signal from the engine ecu the car runs perfect.
In my opinion is the fault in the decelleration cut off...
With a high obd actualisation rate you can see that in the moment the cut off is finished (short bevor reaching idle fuel gets in again) the ignition point gets to +5 degree.
If the vehicle-speed-signal is connected to my ecu the ignition point jumps to this +5 degree too at slowly acceleration under 2000 rpm.
De-connect the signal everything is perfect and the car behaves like the other superchargers i test-drove last week.
- stands for "after highes piston position". Normal driving is everytime in - section
Is anybody out there who can give me an idea? What's the ecu calculating with the speed-signal?
Thanks and best regards
