wighty hey guys after work today, i noticed while walking to my car the passenger rear wheel looks like its sitting at an angle and drivers rear fine.. shocks look fine as do spings. but at last mot the tester said the rose bushes (top) are worn could this be the cause dont know what im looking for damage wise.. also im not sure if this is correct but i think its called the crossmember? like and set of arms going up to center of the car if that makes sense lol but they have bushes aswell and theirs are all cracks and split .
vocky it would be best to compare each side and see what has a different angle, then replace the part required. worn rose bushes can make the wheel angle change, but so can worn suspension bushes on the arms or even bent arms
wighty oh god ..know my luck itl be all of those that are wrong with it, if i cant solve it without a garage il have to scrap it.. only done 88000 but youd think it had actually done double
miniator unless you've hit a kerb or a huge pothole the arms will be fine. 99% sure it'll be a bush or something similar. 88k for bushes is about right!
miniator wighty said: how would i tell if is a bent/twisted arm.. just by eye? or any better methods compare each side by eye. But like i say, unless youve hit a kerb or something i wouldnt even be looking at them!
