can anybody recommend a good underseal? and are there any rules and regs on what can and carnt be painted for an mot etc?

iv got a few bits starting to rust so i want to stop it before it causes any real damage.

Kurust to treat and waxoyl to seal I think me and my mate are getting the kit as we need to learn to do my fto and his skyline.
About 450 if you pay at some places.

Just Binbag up hubs and suspension components you should be ok.

dont mess with any other crap do it right the 1st time with the stuff below it will never need doing again 🙂
you will need a schutz gun to apply it

quick how to
parts needed
2" masking tape
a news paper
schutz gun and compressor
4-5L of schutz in cans for gun
black hammerite paint
2" paint brush

jack up car and remove wheel (secure car on axle stand)
jet wash and scrub the area with stiff kitchen brush and some TFR (traffic film remover)
leave to dry
mask areas not to be covered (brakes ,trims, exhaust ,etc)(see pic)
paint edge of area with black hammerite (see pic)
spray schutz evenlly over the hole surface(see pic)

takes 2-3 weeks to cure
any over spray can be cleaned with petrol or paint thinners on a rag

I did mine many years ago but only under the rear arches behind the rear bumper and behind the side skirts i was to lazy at the time to do the under side 🙂
