I found the information needed, on a Jaguar Forum. The norma push & seal -R type connector, is released by Pushing the Moveable Collar forward, then wiggling and pulling the hose from the fitting. When I pushed the new hoses onto the heater connections, I found this out, as they wouldn't go on far enough to lock on, until my fingers slipped off the fixed collar, therefore pushing the collar nearest the heater pipe to the end of the connector, which enabled it to lock on when pulling the collar back to the original position.
Some folk have found that putting that Green Bit, from the new Hose, onto the old one, enables connector to be released by pushing it into the connector, but not sure how that works, maybe it helps to make it easier to push the connector sleeve forward, as on one of the old hoses, that sleeve was very tight, but on the other something was broken which enabled it to come off, too easily, without pushing the very loose collar forward much, so glad I replaced both hoses when I did.
