I have been offered a supercharger for a decent price and am looking into getting the conversion done to my Z22SE Astra G. How much am I looking at to gather the rest of the parts required for the conversion? I'm aware I can purchase a 'kit' from Courtenay but I assume if I was to collect the bits myself it would be cheaper, I've read the sticky at the top of the forum but was looking for a rough total before I start searching about for parts.
Secondly can I just attach the conversion to my standard engine or do I need to to uprate any internal parts of the engine?
Any help is much appreciated, I've spoken to the insurance company today and the idea is a goer. My last engine is well on its way out so I'll be replacing it with another which would be a good time to fit the charger is I can get it all done at the same time.
