I have yet another Zafira question
I picked up a Zafira this week from a guy who had purchased it blown up and was un able to repair it.
When i first got the car and went to turn it over it has a very bad grinding noise. On inspection i found that the starter motor was smashed inside the gearbox. So i purchased a new one and put it in.
I then continued to work on the rest of the motor to get it going.
The car is now running and seems to be idling fine so i went to take it for a drive when i felt a very od clunk in the engine. i then proceeded to put my foot on and off the pedal and the clunk would happen every time.
Now i know what your thinking "engine mount" but its not
Also now when i go to turn the motor over it also makes this terrible clunk it sounds like its between the gear box and the engine.
Now im assuming that this problem is also what destroyed the original starter motor. Im about to start ripping the engine out but before i do i was hoping someone could poinbt me in the direction of what the problem is most likely going to be
