Well after my 6 hour drive back home I have my new car sat on the drive (Just). I paid £1250 for an 05 reg Sri 2.0 Vectra Turbo in black. The overall condition of the car is good, it's in decent condition. The engine is good and the Turbo is good, the car pulls very well. I picked the car up this morning and drove towards home about 100 miles. I stopped off at Mcdonalds for some lunch. I left Mcdonalds car park and pulled up the round about, I nearly pooped my pants. I had no breaks what so ever! The brake pedal was hard as a rock 
. I went past the round about and kept moving and lucky for me no cars had come towards me. I pulled up into a parking bay a bit further up the road and had a little look under the bonnet, all looked good. The only thing I can think of is the brake fluid is shot, it's old and needs fresh put in. I had been parked up for about 10 mins and I tried the car again, the brakes worked, then they went hard again.
