si_c1978 Here's like a disaster! Sirens everywhere and we live miles from anywhere! Had to move my car as it would be knee deep at the exhaust:eek: House is ok for now. Local towns are flooded, a30 shut at honiton! Never seen anything like it! Sent from my X8 using Tapatalk 2
sandyc That's keen. Its drying up here. Ive been out twice for parts today and the wet weather this morning has just highlighted my need for a pair of front tyres on the Astra.
si_c1978 thank god it didnt come in like they said it would last night! we still have some major road issues mind! the a35 is still shut between bridport and dorchester as the roads lifted up, we have some major pot holes due to the really shoddy "resurfaceing" we had a couple of months back (they wet the road with tar and then spray loadsa loose grit on it wich wqashes away after 2 weeks leaving the roads worse, we also had one of our cliff roads split and drop 3 foot over night last night ill post some pics up after work when i get over there. shit time to own a FTO!
si_c1978 heres a pic from the midweek herald news site of old beer road, its on my way to work (easily driven around on a parralel road) the right hand side of the image shows the fence they had to put up where the old cliff path collapsed a few years back. the left hand side is where the houses are just over that hedge. it would appear the road is colapsing under itself and pressumably the whole right hand side of the picture wont be there for much longer:eek:
si_c1978 Some more pics, loads people looking, bumped into a few mates, social event of the month lol. Where the piece of tarmac us fallen in the crack was 15 foot deep before it all fell in:eek: Sent from my X8 using Tapatalk 2
si_c1978 Also a large crack appeared when I jumped down for my depth shot. Won't be doing that again! Sent from my X8 using Tapatalk 2
