Matt Sjdickso said: What will your training schedule be like for this Matt? I'm already training for a half marathon in October, so it will be pretty much what I'm doing already. I just need to make a few changes to my longer runs, and doing some more off road running to get used to the terrain. I'll not be going for a time, I just want to enjoy this one. It's also the week before the Sheffield 10k which I want to try and get under 45 minutes for
Matt Just been out for a steady 6.2km run in the new shoes. Feel good, nice and sturdy, and should be really good off road.
Matt Did another run in the trail shoes today in my lunch break. Just under 10k, half off road, with a nice hill thrown in there at the start
Matt Had quite a few sponsors today from work. All the money is going towards helping a lady at work who has just been diagnosed with Lung Cancer.
Matt Well it's today! Just getting ready now, and will be setting off at 8am to get there. The race starts at10.12am, so should have a while to make sure everything else is sorted.
Matt Thanks fellas. Took me 2 hours 19 minutes in the end. Will upload a couple of pics and the route details later on. I got really bad cramp to the point where I actually fell down, but still finished the fucker! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Matt MikeS said: poor matt just itching to stick my leg out :p My legs were cramping like a bitch running up that last hill. If you look at the RunKeeper map, you can see where I stopped when I fell over due to my left calf cramping trying to get over a style at 17.5km :blackeye:
