leemarksmith Whats the insurance like on the 2.2, particularly the covertible? Any issues non engine related? Loved my Astra G and if I get my other Vec C sorted and sell it on I might get another little project 🙂
m4rtin ive got the coupe edition 100 and i pay 1200 a year which for a 20 yr old lad 2yrs no claims in my opinion aint bad!
astra22bertoneauto Ive had the standard rear springs fracture on both my coupes & also heard the softtop controller can go wrong on the convertible. Other than that its just wear & tear items as long as you look after it. Insurance wise im paying £465 a year fully comp with 7yr NCB's
hutchy i have edition100 cabby, not had no real issues, i pay 1000 quid fully comp with all mods declared n a claim 3 yrs ago.
Maverick Thanks for the Link Matt. Yes they can be made to look really good. Apart from checking that the roof works OK, it is all normal Astra G.
