karlos73 hi all just one quiery should the 2.2 use oil i have been told its normal to use one liter every 1000 miles or so i have in it 5w30w semi as i was told that is what the motor uses thanks karl
Matt They can be known to use oil. There are a few different grades people use on here, either 10/40 semi, and either 5/30 or 5/40 fully synthetic.
astraz I've never really noticed alot of oil usage (until my crank seal started leaking), but then I only do 3000 miles a year. Never had to do a top up between yearly services. Currently use 5w30 Mobil 1.
Matt @[deleted] used to suffer quite a lot with oil usage, but after having the old engine removed and rebuilt by @[deleted], this explains what was wrong with his engine: Out with the old in with the new!
