have just finished fitting balance and timing chain kit because chain tensioner had snappped checked valves for damage before fitting kit everything seemed fine, spun the engine by hand to check for knocks etc, before cranking the engine over with the key. sounds as if i have no compression, can someone tell me if i have done something wrong please ,are these engines the same as the old 8v where sometimes you have to crank the compression up before they run
