Hi, I am new to the web site, I purchased a 2.2 about a year ago from a dealer and according to the service history it had a cam chain kit fitted the year previous, having read so much about the tensioner failing I looked at mine and its the flat top type and not the domed one that is recommened from the Z20NET, my question is can I just remove the one thats fitted and replace it with the other one without touching anything else in the engine.
The engine is quiet at the moment but would like to fit it before the rattles begin so costing me a cam chain kit in full
