dan_mallia hi i have a 2005 sri auto 2.2 direct and the tyre pressure sensor icon has been up on the dash since i bought the car.i am positive that there are no sensors in the wheels and i dont want to install 4 new sensors.will a tech2 be able to turn off the icon and disable the feature ? or is there any other way of just turning the icon off?cheers for any help
rushy You can disable the whole system with Tech 2 and possibly Opcom, i'll have a look at the latter tomorrow. There should be a sensor in each tyre valve I believe and a reviver on the wheel arch. Try moving the duff tyre around and see if the icon moves to a different wheel then you can pinpoint the tyre.
dan_mallia there are no sensors fitted in any of the wheels so i just need the whole feature disabled and the icon removed from my dash cheers
rushy Arr, sorry I misread your post, you have never had sensors since you got the car... Yep, you should jut be able to disable it via tech 2 or Vaux/opcom
