If you are into these cars then this one is a must.I have owned the car for two years and I am only the second owner (not including the dealer) and it has been an excellent and faultless car, but it is time to let someone else enjoy it as I fancy a change and will be heading back down the Saab route.
It has a full service history, and during my ownership it has had an oil change (Semi-synthetic of fully synthetic) every 6k miles. I have receipts for everything and it has been extensively looked after during my ownership. Recent work includes; new nearside wishbone, new offside ball joint, new front brake pads, rear brake discs and pads, an oil change (only 1.6k miles ago), air filter, cabin filter, new centre section exhaust, front oxygen sensor, front wipers and interior mats.
It has Michelin tyres all round, the front pair (Primacy HP) have loads of tread left, the rear ones still have 3-4 mm left. It has a spare wheel with a Pirelli tyre that has never been used.
It is washed and waxed at least once a month and the bodywork is excellent considering the age. I also treat the leather with shampoo and conditioner once every two months to keep it in good shape and as a result the drivers side bolster has very little wear.
It drives beautifully with no funny noises or smoke, pulls and stops like it should and returns good mpg. It has no cam chain rattle on start up, smoking, or excessive oil consumption. I also had a new flexi exhaust joint welded in last Summer which should be good for a few more years.
The only faults are; I believe the aircon needs regassing, and there is a small bubble forming behind the paint on the offside wheelarch which I have't had time to tend to.
Like I said the only reason I am selling this well cherished car is because I fancy a change and I would hope it would go an enthusiast or someone who looks after it as well as I have. I am looking for around £1695 as it is in excellent condition. The car is also advertised on Ebay and pistonheads.
