si_c1978 http://wengen.ch/ this year we are booked in for wengen and grindlewald. tis fucking pricey:eek: the mrs's mum booked it without telling us then dumped a 1300 quid (each!) tab infront of us!!!!! we really enjoyed last year when robboz22se and his mrs came it would be nice if they could manage it again but i think it may be too costly. (i dont entirely know how im going to pay yet after me car troubles!) co-incidently this is where james bond 'on her majestys secret service' was set, mountain top base and all. also at the north face of the eiger. im sure it will be epic with loads of great photo ops if the weather can leave us alone for one holiday lol. that being said good weather means ice, and my shoulder took over 8 weeks to heal from my accident on the last day of this year.
si_c1978 the time is nigh!! only 2 and a half weeks to go! i got a new toy as videoing up the mountain is a pain in the arse and always looks gay cos you have to film others all the time and it doesnt look right (unless you hate your camera!) i got it for £140 at snow and rock and mounts via the rails straight to my helmet, which is much preferable to the gopro hero which is just massive. so this year if i destroy my shoulder again for 2 months ill have the painfull evidence to laugh at. its just the mrs and her parents this year rob and sarah (robbo22se on here) are going back to cervinia to hone thier skills and will hopefully join us again next year. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005GLFSYQ/ref=asc_df_B005GLFSYQ11399265?smid=A2GK0I6EUTK11S&tag=shoppingmp20858-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22218&creativeASIN=B005GLFSYQ
Matt Camera looks good. Bloke at work has a gopro for trial riding, and it does look huge stuck to his skid lid.
si_c1978 did some videoing yesterday as it was nice outside the quality is very good for something so small, and nowhere near as hard to use as you would expect from having no viewfinder. ill pop one up when i get home. the go pro was a consideration but asides from being quite expensive it has a massive footprint, which when you use your head for landing occasionally would mean losing it somewhere. more for drift/motor action in my opinion.
