sandyc Ive had my old housemate's 306 GTi6 languishing in the driveway since last january after I towed it home with a very noisy engine. Turned out it had 2 sheared Cam Pulleys that were hanging on by a thread. Ooops. After taking the odd notion towards it over the past months and alot of swearing I have finally managed to get it running kinda silently. If you think a Z22 chain is hard you should try a belt on one of these, working with about 2 inches of clearance down the side of the engine. Just needs an ICV and a few bits and pieces to get it back on the road. My wee brothers Clio was abandoned on me about 2 years ago when he took off to New Zealand. I had intended to make it a cheap runabout but now I have the wee van it'll probably get sold once it's MOT'd
