miniator with a £8500 price tag if you want the Audio!!1 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3842599.htm
Matt I wasn't aware they had sold it either. Tad optimistic on the 0-60 time, but still a stunning car.
Matt miniator said: But worth the premium over a Gsi?? It's unique, but I don't think the fact it's Courtenays old one makes it worth any more.
Sjdickso One lovely unique car, but it is still on a 12 year old chassis, I would say it could be worth 6.5 - 7k, I suppose it depends what some one is willing to pay though. I really like the wheels also.
miniator £5k tops for me - but hey, if someone wants to pay it...go for it! £8k would buy and tune a lovely low mileage GSi to a good 300bhp!
Matt The wheels are really nice, they suite the MK5 as well (quite common on the VXRs). £7.5k is almost early VXR range now
JohnnyN Mark sold it well over 12 months ago. The current owner has ragged the bollocks off it from the conversations i've had with a certain previos owner. Mark sold it for £5250 or thereabout. Its certainly isn't worth that price tag!
Matt So looking at the advert then, he's trying to get the money back for the new engine he's fitted to it???
JohnnyN That's the same engine that was in it when Mark had it. The only changes are the wheels, ICE and roof lining along with some Dynamat.
Matt The add makes it sound like he had the engine fitted, but now you mention it, I remember Mark saying they fitted the new VX220 engine to it when they did the conversion.
Sjdickso Now at just over 5k a year go I think that is a very fair price, as you say Matt it reads as if it has just had a new engine in it.

(seriously considering a "performance" diesel when i change after the mrs got an Ibiza 130 FR)
miniator MikeS said: seat diesels are prob the most up & coming car out atm imo I like the new ones too - this is an '04 with the 1.9 130bhp PD unit
miniator JohnnyN said: Seat use the same VAG diesel engine. as do Mitsubishi in their lancer 😉 (although its the 2 litre tdi) great engine the 130, had a mk4 golf mapped to 180bhp/296lb/ft - pulled well!!
