New Brakes

Well, just had the discs and pad fitted all round, the handbrake wasnt great and it froze solid a couple of times in the winter turns out it was totally shot, Local mechnanic changed these for me and showed me it was about to snap on one side and the otehr was corrded solid so for £34 for new one wasnt bad at all.

I didnt think the discs where too bad but the inner parts had seen better days so glad i did change them.

Just need to bed them in now :thumbup:

Just come back from a 20 mile run the brakes are bedding in nice and the handbrake is nice and tight.

The brakes came from a eBay motor shop, I was going to get them from CRN but they had none in stock for my fitment and these where the same setup at same price otherwise I would have got them from CRN.

Cool, they look good, and nice to hear the are doing OK after a bit of bedding in 🙂

Done about 120 miles now and the bite is superb, I can tell by just coming off the slip road how it scrubs the speed off, I honestly can not believe the diff, feels just like when I put the 308 setup on initially.
