Mark_Dj The last few days I have noticed Ants in my kitchen. I had a load of them come out of my microwave. Whats best for killing them? I have put bleach down behind the kitchen units but I don't think that will keep them away for long. Thanks for any info
Matt Turning the microwave on should kill the fuckers! :rolf: On a serious note, can you see any entry points where they are making there way in, or any nest type areas outside of the house?
Sjdickso As Matt says you need to find how they are getting in, they are a nightmare, we used to get them outside at our old house I used to use ant powder near air vents to make sure they didn't get into the house.
JohnnyN Ant Powder. Failing that, I like to find the nest, pour metholated spirit into it and strike up a match. Burn baby!!

Daz We had a nest in the garden last year... as they were walking around doin there Ant thing, i let loose with a stream of brake cleaner ,,, oh and lit it, was like an ant inferno ..
David2_2coupe we've got them too,in out front room, the little shits come in where the Sky cable goes through the wall. i just ant powder down, behind the TV,along the edge of the skirting, usually does the trick😉
si_c1978 that nippon stuff is supposed to be best as it doesnt kill them instantly and they carry the poison back to their nests. its probably for the best i stay away from flamable liquids after last year:rolf:

Mark_Dj Well I have sorted the problem out. I bought some of those Ant bait station things. They munched on it and they never came back the next day lol
Matt Let's hope it's killed the rest of the nest off as well then Mark. I know when I poured boiling water into the nest in our garden, they all came running out picking up the eggs which were floating off.
