I have now got my new grill fitted! Thanks to a good friend of mine John who made this for me.
It started as a standard Opel single bar grill. then John made the modifications to remove the OPEL Blitz from the grill and make a perfect flat faced mounting for the Monaro Griffin Badge.
I then painted it myself in original shade Flame Red.
The bitch part was the top grill. The bottom black grill was removeable, so could be left in black, but the top half was part of the grill, so I had to paint this gently by hand in matt black.
Here are the results!!
Really pleased with the grill as a lot of work has gone into it, to make it look OE and also to keep it original and a one off!!
