I've bought a 2.2 Zaffy now and the F23 ratios are quite different i.e approx 3250 rpm @ 70mph as opposed to the Vectras 2500rpm at the same speed.

the zafira has a 4.17 as opposed to my hatches 3.95? Is that correct?
reason I'm asking is my hatch cruises at about 3100rpm at 70mph on 195/55/16 tyres.
i suspect my cars had an engine replacement or at least, its been out and in back in again and was wondering if I've had a zafira engine (or gearbox at least) fitted to mine.
