Hi guys,
My Z22se astra inlet valves all bent cause by chain guard rail (black one) crack and snap to make chain jump and all inlet vavles sight bent so i took head out and replace new vavles (both exhaust and inlet) and vavle stems etc so will order new chain kits at the moment and i check the block pistons to see if rings fine by pour degreased engine clear each pistons barrels 1 inchs fill up and wait for 10 mins to see that rings broke or not as they fine..... and i turn pulley to turn it around to check barrels then it moves around fine.... and i hi jack car up driver side then put block of wood to support oil sump to me to take engine mount off (near cams) then lower abit down to east unscrew mounts then check the chain balance by unscrew bottom cover (where pulley are) off to see it ok and found some bits black plastic bar in pieces ( its black guard rail!) and remove it then 2 weeks later i do to put mount back then lower it down the car to carry on clear BUT i tried to turn pulley to move the pistons but now all struck as wouldnt move!! as i tried put 1st gear and push car a bits but it still struck! How did it happen... Help me cos i got new parts for heads but need that pistons go move up and down as it fine but i open bottom plates and pulleys (remove) then it happen struck. Any idea what cause it?
cheers
